The Rise of JiggSaw

Kedar “JiggSaw” Anthony, is a humble man of many talents who has chosen Columbus, Georgia to showcase some of them. After getting bit by the entertainment bug in the Speech and Debate program while in his freshmen year at West Side High School in Newark, New Jersey, he became the first freshmen in his schools history to win a regional spot in the State Improv Championships. With influences like Chris Brown, Usher, and local dance crews, he began his career in dancing. While with Empact, a local dance crew, his drive, ambition, and determination to never give up pushed them all the way to the stage of 106&Park as a background dancer.

While acting and dancing was where he thought he wanted to be, insert Brian McKnight. A R&B powerhouse who plays eight different instruments fluently and respectfully holds four different titles in the music industry. The R&B crooners vocal control and swag made JiggSaw stop in his entertainment tracks. He began singing which immediately led to a passion for songwriting. With songwriters like K-Ci & Jojo, Genuine, and Ne-yo, the bar has been set high. However, the name JiggSaw will soon be in the same conversations.

In 2011, his Columbus journey began. Within the first year after relocating Columbus, he linked up with one of the biggest independent record labels in the city at the time, Monsta Fam Music Group. After realizing it wouldn’t work out with them, he reinvented himself into the clean, resilient, triple threat of an artist he is now. With his daily mantra, "Always smile and be happy. Because if not, you'll always make room to frown and be sad", he has developed a mindset that he can face any obstacle and be a better artist after.

In 2017 he auditioned for America's Got Talent and made it through to the second round audition held in South Carolina. While nervous, the nerves turned into motivation. That experience taught him to always be prepared in every aspect of being an independent artist. From always being ready to perform a song with appropriate accompanying music, and his Electronic Press Kit on a thumb drive to having business cards readily available.

Since 2018, he can be found performing regularly at Circa Craft Cocktails for Wine Down Wednesdays in Columbus. Where he commands the stage in a way that only he can. With his tagline "Another Classic" it is his mission to make music that people continue to remember, nothing but Classics.
